British Rally Championship: Title would be ‘an honour’ for William Creighton British Rally Championship: Title would be ‘an honour’ for William Creighton

Creighton will be joined on the rally by Motorsport Ireland’s Jon Armstrong, who is an outside contender for the ERC title with three rounds left. M-Sport driver Armstrong, who finished on the podium in the last round in the Czech Republic with co-driver Shane Byrne, said he was “really looking forward” to the event in Wales.”Obviously, it’s a bit of an outside chance to keep the ERC title fight alive, but we’ve got two good rallies coming up to finish the season strong.”Last year here we had some good pace, so the goal is to have a clean rally, enjoy ourselves, and see what result we can bring home at the end.”The last time out in Barum we finished second, so anything’s possible. We’ll give it our all, enjoy the weekend, and keep the right foot down.”Irish Tarmac Rally Champion Callum Devine will also get an outing in Wales as he pilots the MRF Tyres Skoda Fabia in a one-off appearance. “I’m delighted with this opportunity,” said Devine.”I will need to adapt quickly to the MRF tyres, which I have never used before, but the goal is to support the team in the chase for the teams’ title and we will give our best to achieve that.”
