Susan Boyle has been gifted a jacket by Hollywood superstar Timothée Chalamet after he hailed her as one of his biggest British heroes.The US actor ranked the Scottish singer alongside seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and David and Victoria Beckham.Chalamet has been presenting jackets bearing the title of his latest film, Marty Supreme, to people he deems as being true greats.Honourees so far include singer Frank Ocean, former NFL player Tom Brady and Barcelona’s Spanish wunderkind Lamine Yamal.Now, former Britain’s Got Talent winner Boyle has been added to the list.After receiving her Marty Supreme jacket, she said: “Thanks so much for the kind words once again Timothée. “All the very best for the film, looking forward to seeing it on Boxing Day and thanks for the jacket, it fits like a glove!”Chalamet previously told BBC News that Boyle “dreamt bigger than all of us,” referring to her 2009 BGT performance of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables. He said: “Who wasn’t moved by that?”In response, she said she was “very flattered”, adding: “Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me.”Chalamet was 13 when Boyle shot to fame after stunning viewers and judges with her audition for Britain’s Got Talent, which quickly went viral.”I remember that like it was yesterday,” the actor said. “That was like the advent of YouTube, you know.”Marty Supreme will be released on Boxing Day.
