BBC News presenter Maryam Moshiri has shared more detail about her two years living with cancer, and the way the chronic disease will affect the rest of her life.She was diagnosed in November 2024 with polycythaemia vera (PV) – a rare, treatable blood cancer. Although it cannot be cured, it can be managed effectively.Speaking to her colleague Lucy Hockings, Moshiri said she was lucky her GP caught the cancer early and reflected on how she felt in the aftermath of her diagnosis.Read more on this story.
