Divulging his experience of mingling with fellow Cotswolds-residing celebrities, Llewelyn-Bowen said people tend to be on their best behaviour when they retreat to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. Llewelyn-Bowen questioned whether Gallagher will be “cutting the ribbon at the local bring-and-buy””That is quite intriguing to people because what you tend to find when you bump into famous people in the Cotswolds is they’re very much on their best behaviour,” Llewelyn-Bowen whispered.”You get their posh voice, their telephone voice, they’re quite grown up.”He questioned whether Gallagher will act in the same manner.”Will he be firmly hiding beneath his bucket hat and sticking two fingers up at everybody when they ask him for a selfie, who knows? Or will he be cutting the ribbon at the local bring-and-buy?” Llewelyn-Bowen said.Meanwhile, David Beckham told Country Life magazine he moved to the Cotswolds because it “brought him peace”.”It’s one of the most beautiful parts of the countryside. I’m never happier than when I’m here,” he said.’Everywhere is beautiful’Liam is the latest of many big names to move to the area, with Beyoncé and Jay‑Z reportedly buying a home there in 2025 and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce rumoured to holiday there.Emma Brooks, from estate agency Harvey Holland, said she believes the area is so popular because it has “fabulous places to eat and everywhere is beautiful”.Harvey and Holland moved from London to the Cotswolds after noticing an influx of celebrities, with Brooks saying yet another famous face making the idyllic region their home is “fabulous for the area”.”I mean, I would say that, I’m an estate agent so I like to sell my properties,” she acknowledged.”But, in the main, locals are really happy to have people coming here because there’s money coming into the area.”
