James Morrison has said he will “return the favour” to Britain’s Got Talent finalists Northants Sings Out and perform with them for a second time at a special hometown show.Morrison will join the choir at their annual Christmas Party at the Royal & Derngate in the town on 29 November.They last sang with the You Give Me Something star at his London Palladium gig in September.The Brit Award winner said he was looking forward to “jumping up” for a few songs at the special gig. This year’s show will be the 200-strong community choir’s 11th end-of-year get together. The group is made up of non-professional singers, aged between 25 and 75.They set off on their first national headline tour, titled Club Classics, in September, and are due to end in Manchester on 19 December.Gareth Fuller, choir leader, said: “Working with James Morrison was an unforgettable experience for our singers. “His warmth, musicianship, and generosity made it a truly special collaboration.”To reunite with him on our home stage at Royal & Derngate is not only exciting for the choir, but a real celebration of how far this community group has come.”It’s coming home.”Morrison said having them join him onstage at the London Palladium was a “very special moment”.”I am now returning the favour and jumping up for a few songs with them at their own headline show. “I’m really looking forward to it, it’s gonna be a great night.”
